Puppy schedule

Hey Everybody!

I can’t believe it is almost time for the pups to join their forever homes! These weeks have gone by sooo fast. Here is a little final information: 

The puppies are currently eating 3/4 cup of food 3 times a day at 6:30am, 12:00pm, and 5:30pm. Make sure to always take your puppy out to the bathroom after eating. 

If your puppy is flying with us on the airplane we will not feed them before they fly so make sure you are able to offer them food as soon as you get home. 

The number one question is get is “when should I increase their food?” Unfortunately, there is no way for me to tell you exactly when. Each puppy is different and will depend on the amount of exercise they are receiving. Here is a guideline.... make sure to keep your pup lean....you want to be able to look down and see a defined waist (not ribs). Obesity is bad for their hips and elbows so do not over feed and also make sure they are getting the proper exercise daily.

Puppy Food

Hey Everybody,

I've had a few people ask about puppy food because they want to go ahead and get their new puppy supplies (which is great). We feed the Hills Science Diet Large Breed Puppy Food. Below is a picture of what the bag looks like. I will share when and the amount they are eating with you before they go home.

If you choose to feed your puppy a different food please make sure to transition them slowly. Start out with 75% hills science diet and 25% the feed you choose then slowly work your way down. This will help keep them from getting an upset tummy.
